In August 2018, CC was used to provide a 'patch repair' solution to a damaged and degrading wall in Warblington, Havant, UK.
The original sprayed concrete coating was damaged, cracked and falling away. The client, Eastern Solent Coastal Partnership (ESCP) wanted to find a solution that could be used to repair the sections of failed and damaged wall. However, the limited access and high tide periods meant traditional methods would be difficult to install.
CC8™ was specified due to its ability to be installed despite access issues, and its limitations to environmental disturbance. The material could also be deployed from behind the wall, mitigating the need to access the beach.
CC reduced time on site and logistical costs, as well as disruption on site to animals, visitors and the environment.
