A channel on the site of Treorchy Comprehensive School, in South Wales was remediated with CC8™ in late 2017.
The channel was originally line with concrete slabs, situated on an embankment near a school building. It had become dilapidated, cracked, scoured, overgrown and some slabs had shifted, posing a health and safety risk.
250m² of CC was installed in 1 week by a team of three. The installation was carried out despite wet weather - CC is workable for up to two hours following hydration, eliminating any delays associated with the weather conditions.
The client, Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council are considering specifying CC for further projects.
