Damaged concrete can be repaired and resurfaced in a number of ways. Concrete Canvas offers an efficient and long-lasting concrete repair solution that doesn’t require the need for extensive materials and equipment. It also provides long-term erosion protection and significantly reduces the costs for future maintenance and repairs compared to other concrete repair products.
Our experience in concrete repair projects
Concrete Canvas has been used as an effective concrete repair solution in a range of projects around the world – it’s currently used in over 80 countries worldwide. Its strong, flexible properties make it ideal for repairing and protecting existing infrastructure.
Cardiff Council required a solution to reline an existing channel and prevent water damage to properties in a residential area that was adjacent to a stream. Not only did the solution need to repair the existing channel and structure in place, but it also had to provide continued erosion protection and a barrier to reduce permeability in the channel.
Concrete Canvas was chosen as a concrete repair solution for its easy and fast installation, as well as its reduced logical requirements. As a result of using Concrete Canvas, the adjacent properties are protected from the flooding that was previously caused by the poor performance of the damaged channel.
Concrete Canvas is also used in projects outside of the UK. Concrete Canvas was used to repair a concrete channel that was part of the Vah river network in Povaszka, Slovakia. The resulting increase in harsh weather conditions had damaged the channel’s concrete structure. Again, Concrete Canvas delivered a robust, erosion preventative, concrete repair solution to the channel and was installed by a team of 10 in just six days.
