Preliminary injunction against Eurobent/ Tiltex™ upheld a second time
PRESS RELEASE
CONCRETE CANVAS PATENT SUCCESS REPEATED AS PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION AGAINST EUROBENT/TILTEX™ UPHELD.
11 NOVEMBER 2019
In April 2018 a Polish court granted a preliminary injunction against Eurobent Sp.zo.o – the manufacturer of Tiltex™ (a cement/sand filled GCL product marketed as a GCCM*) – to refrain from infringement of Concrete Canvas Technology Ltd.’s patent PL/EP 2027319. The preliminary injunction has been final and binding since June 2018.
The court has again ruled** that the preliminary injunction is upheld and Eurobent Sp.z o.o. must not infringe Concrete Canvas Technology Ltd.’s patent PL/EP 2027319.
The fine for non-compliance remains amongst the highest on record set by a Polish court for a case of this type.
Concrete Canvas Ltd. wish to reiterate that they will seek to enforce their intellectual property rights where they have grounds to believe that they are being infringed by a manufacturer, distributor or otherwise.

Concrete Canvas used at West London Football Club training ground
A combination of CC8™ and CC13™ were used to line a channel at a West London Football Club’s training ground.
The original, unlined channel had suffered significant erosion and silt build up which was reducing its functionality.
CC was specified to provide a channel lining solution to prevent further erosion and silt generation, which would in turn prevent blockages in the channel and allow efficient pitch and land drainage.
The location of the channel on the site meant a lot of the preparatory works had to be carried out by hand as plant access was impossible in some areas.
Despite that, a total of 3,705m² of CC material were installed in 9 weeks by no more than 2-4 people on any given day.
